LO4.1.2.3: be able to record cinematic quality footage

Due to this shot having its own lighting from the setting we used I did not change any of the lighting settings on the camera because the lighting was suitable for its purpose. This scene meets the generic conventions because it shows different angles on the scene and allows the audience to feel what the atmosphere is like in the location. This helps add to the generic conventions because in real short films I have studied it replicates the conventions of how certain camera shots and lighting can change the view of a shot and change the genre of it through the different camera angles and shot types. This footage shows the male being more dominant through being able to pot one off the pool balls. From there being a dryer lighting on the date scene it shows that there can be a comfortable and warm feeling towards the scene and shows how it could connote the genre of romance. 

This scene shows the generic conventions through it shows the makes reaction to the girl walking by him giving the audience he impression of him finding her attractive and appealing towards him. From the female not acknowledging the male it hints to the audience that she is not interested in him this connotes what the ending of the short film may end like. The lighting that is used in this short film scene is natural lighting for it is gloomy yet is also bright to signify some tension from the characters. The setting used in this shot is on a public street in town where the characters cross paths with one another once again, they are wearing casual clothing and the girl is holding her phone showing her lack of interest in the guy.

This scene shows how in the film there will be a scene of the main character having a conversation with themselves, this footage is very short for it just shows how the footage would be filmed and what will happen during the short film. This scene states the frustration that the character is going through and how it has effected the way he acts towards himself when talking to himself in the mirror. The lighting that will be used in this scene will be a dull lighting and the setting for the shot will contain a public toilet to show how he is crazy about the girl he has seen.
